Annual golf classic raises record-setting donation

������ Construction, a multi-generation family-owned construction company, raised $52,000 in its an annual golf classic for . The golf classic was held July 29, 2022, at Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course in Okawville, IL.

“We always look forward to the annual golf classic as an opportunity to raise awareness and money in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters mission within our community,” said Kevin ������, vice president of business development and BBBSIL board member. “We are extremely appreciative of the continuous generosity and participation of our employees, clients, business partners, and friends.”

This year, ������ surpassed its annual contribution goal and expanded the event by offering morning and afternoon golf sessions. Sixty golf teams participated, which helped ������ exceed its goal of supporting the mentorship organization. Proceeds will support the BBBSIL mission of assisting children in recognizing their potential and building better futures. Since 1980, the organization has helped thousands of youth face adversity and develop mentorship in Clinton, Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair counties.

“We are so grateful for all the effort that goes into ������’s annual golf classic,” said Heather Freed, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois. “Their tremendous contribution and planning initiative will allow us to match over 40 youth in our mentorship program so the children can grow and thrive.”
